.Bicycle -not- Built for two.

Paul recently bought a bike from our neighborhood bike shop. He walked by and was happy to see a Giant there. After some discussion and thoughtful consideration, we decided to buy it! He was jazzed. Then, we decided to ride it China-style with me on the back. Well, little did we know that the back wheel was very cheap and weak causing it to bend in half when I got on. Oops! We took it back to the shop, to meet a bewildered shopowner. "Did you fall off the curb? Were you hit by a car?" He then told us it was not meant for 2 people and he would find us a wheel for 2. Just 2 days later, we had our bike back! He assured us it was meant for 2 now...even taking time to demonstrate himself.

R'dan began this weekend in our country.
Last week, in preparation for the next month of
eating in for all meals,
we participated in an 'All-out-eat-out' where we visited 1 restaurant every night for dinner. We chose all our favorites that are sure to be closed. We ended with a bang by going to this delicious sushi restaurant - YUM! It was Paul's first sushi experience and he loved it.

Thursday and Friday were a National holiday so we took the opportunity and day off to become beach bums.
We went to a new beach just south of our city and it was so gorgeous!

The water was amazing, the waves were perfect for boogie boarding, and it was a great
temperature outside. We had a fun day - despite the hard crashes under some of the waves!

Tuesday we're heading down south again to try our hand at surfing for a friend's birthday!!! Paul's never been - we're super excited. Wish us luck :)
